Hi,
Svart 701 owner from Christchurch, New Zealand. It's my first road bike and I'm having a blast!
Pretty stock at the mo. I have just installed a 14 tooth front sprocket. I'll start a thread on that once I've had a decent ride.

Hi, Niels from the Netherlands here. Just bought a new Svart 701 but it stays at the dealer untill registration in jan '21. Already ordered some mods (barend mirrors, tailtidy, decat) and can't wait to jump on. My first bike btw!

Welcome Niels! Wow, it takes two months for the registration to process in the Netherlands? I would go crazy during the wait!
 
Hello all, I need to introduce myself. Bit over 50, bought a Vit 2018 in September 2018. Have some other bikes and ride aprox 20 to 30k km a year. Röster is, because I have a small company with tree bars, a roasting venue and I sell coffee too.

I am a absolut and total fan of the Vitpilen. Since I ride old Triumph and Buells, I know, that you have to finish, what the company didn't do. So clutch fail, gastankgate or dashboradfunnies just make me smile.

Thanks to your effort Carl, to build up this forum. I'll post pictures and so on whenever I find time. Cheers Röster, aka Adrian
 
Hey all, new 2020 Svartpilen owner in Ottawa. Purchased in late September, but put scarcely put 200km on it, due to a hand injury. Also ride an '05 R1200RT. Have been riding for over 40 years. Lots of Boxers and sport bikes through the ages, but this thing is a breath of fresh air. Everything about it feels right.

Both bikes winterized and tendered in the garage for the winter, so time to check out the online forums, I guess!

Welcome - definitely need to be winterized in Ottawa.

For awhile, i went to Ottawa regularly for work from Santa Cruz California. I remember taking a trip in January and the cab driver taking me to the hotel bragging that Ottawa was the 2nd coldest capital city in the world - the capitol of Mongolia being the 1st. It was cold.

Hi everybody, I am a happy owner of a Svart 401. I live in Chile and this baby is a blast over the curvy mountain roads. Also own a Harley Ultra Limited (big fat boy, only good for long freeway trips) and Honda CB500x. Riding bikes for the last 35 years.
Hope we can share our passion for bikes over this forum

Hello everyone and thank you Carl for putting this forum together. I ride a 2018 401 Svartpilen that I bought new in early 2019. I did only small modifications on it, most noticeably a tail tidy, and also removed the dB killer from the stock muffler. I ride mostly in eastern France and Switzerland (I'm both French and Swiss). I'm into long rides, and multi day adventures, and I like to take the bike off road as often as possible.
