Hi, gixxxer from... Norden Italy here!
Have the Norden from January 7th, and last saturday I finished running the engine.
After six years and 90.000 km whit KTM Adventure 1050/1290, I was looking for a lighter bike 'cause of my back problems. I was worried about the change to 21 but after trying the ktm 890 adventure I didn't hesitate and bought the Norden without trying it. After three days in the saddle and 1,000 km in the mountains of the Dolomites, with mud, snow and a bit of ice, I find it a fantastic bike, light, agile, powerful as and when it is needed.
I must say that, honestly, compared to the KTMs, the engine is less full and requires a more frequent use of the gearbox, furthermore the aerodynamic protection for the upper part of the legs and for the whole torso is worse.
They are objectively two completely different models and cannot be compared, I only do it because they are my latest bikes. What I think the Norden is a compact, confident, light bike and, above all, looking at it in the garage immediately makes me want to ride it again !!!
The only defects seem to be, at the moment, the lack of the hazard and the front suspension at low imput.
I don't know if it is the right place to insert them, I leave some pictures of my first 1,000 km in the Dolomites.
