Hello guys,
Quick question...today I've noticed that, when the engine is off, and transmission is in 1st gear, even if i pull the clutch lever all the way, is difficult for me to move the motorcycle forward or backward. I feel like the clutch doesn't fully disengage the transmission from the engine. If i start the engine, transmission in 1st gear and clutch lever pulled, i can move the motorcycle freely. Is it normal? Other Svart/Vit 701 owners experience this behaviour? I must mention that instead the original slave cylinder, the motorcycle has a OBERON CLU-1000 slave cylinder fitted. Could this be the problem, or is this normal? Thank you!

Agree with SvePil, there is always some drag especially when cold.

Otherwise, if there is much more drag than normal, and for example, the engine slows when in gear and bike stopped with clutch pulled, this could come from some air inside clutch line and need to bleed the fluid.

Hello and thank you for your replies! If the engine is turned on, and the transmission in 1st gear, with the clutch lever puled, i can freely move the bike forward. This behaviour is present only when the engine is turned off. I have already replaced the fluid and bleed the clutch line. thank you, i didn`t know if this is normal or not, si i tought i`d better ask, and if is some kind of problem, to resolve it. Thank you guys! Have a nice day!

Have you tried this after a ride when the oil is warm? If the oil is warm it will be much easier. Back in the days i had problems with extreme clutch sticking. Changed the oil and got rid of the problem.

Have a nice day👍🏻

The oil was replaced around 300km ago. I used Motorex PowerSynt 4T 10W50. I have replaced the oil, the 2 oil filters and also the 2 oil screens. Yesterday i tried the same, but with the engine and oil warm and with the transmission in 1st gear, engine shut down and clutch lever pulled , i can freely move the bike forward or backward. So, maybe indeed when the engine and oil is cold, the clutch plates sticks to each other. So, now i`m relaxed knowing that everything is normal. Thank you guys!
