New member, new bike.
Just got my Vitpilen, only had a very short ride to get fuel. I live in rural Andalusia with a dirt track from my Cortijo to a tarmac road. After no rain to speak of for nine months we have had two weeks of the stuff. At the moment the weather is unseasonably wet and cold. I plan to venture out today, we’ll see.
I have done a few mods already and have more planned. Here’s a few photos to start off with

I’m sure you will love it. It’s the best bike I’ve had. Recent bikes included Triumph street triple and Ducati Scrambler. It makes the Duke feel like a tractor in comparison.

Was all in to pick up one of these and then just read that Stark is going to make a street legal version of a Varg with SM wheels. So many decisions.

For me no electric in a motorcycle is a no go. Not enough range to get to the twisties. I´ve had enough problems with my Canyon E-Bike to last a lifetime thanks. However each to their own

That makes sense for most people. I need to get to work an back on a charge while running in full hooligan mode so I'm sure the 7.2KwHr battery should be fine for that. But no denying it is a lot of money for what is basically a barely usable toy. I don't think they will really get beyond niche until full solid state batteries are readily available.

If I go 801 route I won't be happy until I get wire wheels so that is going to add a couple grand to the price.

Wire wheels look nice, I had them on my 2024 Ducati Scrambler but I wouldn’t go that route again unless they were fully tubeless ready. Similar to the big GS beemer or Multistrada. (Spokes on the rim edge) Tubeless go down a lot more gently than a punctured tube which is instantaneous. I would go for a lighter wheel, less un sprung mass, better handling. Carbon maybe
