Vit701 Rearset

You could use something like this:

The only proper rearsets are those northlines. But I think they look a bit cheap, esp the brake pedal.

Do you know how to remove the stock footpegs? I'm trying to remove the 'pin' but it feels stuck in there. Is there a locking mechanism or something else blocking it? I tried to tap from the bottom with a small rod but it didnt budge at all. I heard somewhere that there's loctite in it, but I was wondering if anyone else ran into this.

Remove the little C-clip first, than tap out.

The first time I removed them, I didnt like how much force it was being hit with with the hammer and not even moving, so I got a big pair of channel lock pliers, taped the teeth, and squeezed it out pass the tight part. After that the hammer works just fine.

Like this (but with tape on the teeth):

Did you have to remove the shifter to punch out the pin? It looks like there might be no enough clearance for the pin to come out.

I can’t recall having to remove the shifter to change the pegs (the pin goes out through the top, not the bottom). But if it looks like you need to, it’s only one bolt to remove the shifter…

Hi all just joined and found this. I just took delivery of my Northline rearsets. They are high quality and fit perfectly. So far its 2.75 inches higher then stock and about an inch back. I havent tested it yet on the track but it feels much more natural now in terms of aggressive positioning. They were too low for my liking for aggressive riding. At about $500 US, they are on the pricier side though :(

I wonder if there is a second rearset mounting on the frame?
There is a second bolthole on the side, maybe 2cm back and 1,5 cm up..
If we make an distance on the rear side of the frame it could work well..
Any guesses?

Why dont you utilize the same mounting hole and make an extender plate? Extender plate bolts to the existing hole and rearset bolts to the extender plate using a TAP.

Extender plate.. yes, I hopped there's something like this to buy somewhere..
The two holes on the sides are some left over from Duke IV

On the left side there is this stupid shiftrod support, so it doesn't work out like planed 😞
Today I tried the Duke R rearset. I like more forward pegs, because it feels more easy to squat on something that's under me, rather than behind me.. and I can lock my knee better onto the tank. But Duke rearset it's just to much in front and my centerstand don't fit with them..
So I am looking for something between Vitpilen and Duke R rearset 🤷🏻

I wonder if the extra mount hole is for the Svartpilen? I know they have different peg locations.
