Has anyone figured out the turn signal problem when trying to use aftermarket LED signals? I wired in some, got the hyper flash and error so I ordered a resistor kit advertised to work on 21-25 ktm 790 and 890s to clear up the flashing and fault. I installed them and there was no change at all. This is weird because you would think they would at least slow down the flashing. Really weird.

Couldn’t sleep on it so I went back out and pulled it all apart, swapped the right rear non sequential up front left. It still hyper flashed on that side so I went down to just one resistor set in the rear and now it’s flashing good and no fault. Ordered another set of non sequential signals so fingers crossed once I get them all wired up it’ll be good to go.

I testfitted the sequential KTM indicators with the same result; hyper flashing and error code.
The stock 801 indicators are 2,5 watt; the sequential KTM indicators are 4 watt.
If the wattage of the indicators is higher, a resistor will not work.

Afterwards I tested some Motoism indicators with about 1,0 watt; together with some Motoism resistors.
They worked without hyper flashing or an error code, but the the flashing light was way too dark.

The optional KTM/Husqvarna "lipstick" indicators are 2,6 watt; and from what I've read, aftermarket indicators with about the same wattage like the stock indicators should also work without hyper flashing and without causing an error code.
