Track Vits?

Anyone got any ideas on track gearing? I do a few circuits here in the UK but some of them have quite long straights. Present gearing seems OK to me, though I get minced by supervises on the straights but I wouldn't want to change to anything that had a huge effect on top end. On the other hand, I do Lydden Hill here, where I don't get to top speed so wouldn't mind some ideas for a small technical circuit.

Just get another rear sprocket and a lap timer and see what your results are.
I haven't installed my lap timer yet and didn't get the track time that I hoped for this year.
Aim makes a nice timer for around $400US (Aim Solo 2 Lap Timer)

Interesting because at the Wilbers online shop there is no Vitpilen available in the vehicle search.
Did you choose the Duke 690 shock instead?

Yes. It was very difficult to make them accept it's the same chassis (I think they still don't believe me) and I had to say I take the risk it will don't fit.
You have to move the pressure sensor and another depollution servo (if I remember) behind the engine to make place for the shock tank (I think it would be the same with the last Duke).
I hope you can understand my bad english.

Hello. My headlight dongle is no longer working !
I give up and I’ll get used to the error code.

You could send your ECU to mce performance in Austria, this guy can freely Programm your ECU and / or disable abs, headlights tc for good. He is on Facebook.. and for what I known he is the krämer Service Partner for Austria.. and he is the one who flashes ECU s for pirate racing

Hey all, wondering what everyone is using for rearsets at the racetrack?

I have been using the Sato rearsets on my Duke 690. Even with suspension work (Nitron front and rear) to give extra ride height I am still scraping pegs occasionally. Judging by the stock position on the pegs on the Vit will have to raise considerably from stock.

I like the Satos and thought about just machining a new base bracket that positions the pegs further rearward to suit the Vit position. That still leaves me with their janky solution of a bellcrank and extra linkage to actuate the Duke style shift shaft mount. I much prefer the Vit style bellcrank that rides in a bushing.

Any feedback on the Northlines? The webike website sure looks sketchy.

Yes the stock pegs totally touch down easily… looking for the same, sketch free, information.
