I'm getting my Norden 901 in a week or 2. Would it be a worthy investement to keep my Vitpilen with silver body (2018), since they stopped producing them?
Or won't it sell much better in a couple years?

I can't wait to see your Norden!
I think most vehicles suffer a price dip before a few of them rise. And then there is inflation... will the price go up enough to beat inflation?
And many places it's seasonal. Like in the North, bikes often sell best in the Spring.
So I guess I'm suggesting selling as soon as the market is good where you are... but be sure to point the new owner to our forum!

Always gotta keep in mind, selling a bike in Winter, especially a "good weather" bike might yield a loss vs. selling at the beginning of the season.

So, financially speaking, keep it at least until you get the right price... 🤑

I bought a Vitpilen 701 to go with my R1250GS. They compliment each other nicely, and there's never really a ride where it's hard to choose between them. The Norden also seems different enough to justify having both.

That said, if you know you're done with the Vitpilen and your only question is when you'll get the most money, sell it now or in the spring. Motorcycles, even collectable ones, rarely make good investments unless you're investing in the experience of riding them.

An example: The Honda GB500 was also a market failure, and is also highly collectable now.

It cost $4,200 new in 1989. That's equivalent to a little over $9,000 in today's money.

Only in the last couple years have totally mint examples started to command that sort of money again. I bought mine in extremely nice condition for $5,000 in 2012.

I suspect the Vitpilen 701 may some day be similarly collectable, but like the GB500 the price will likely go down for many years (probably decades) before it starts going up again.

Your best bet is almost certainly to sell it as soon as the motorcycle season picks up in your market, while it is still as close to new as possible.

It would be suuuuper nice to keep them both... it's just ... not much space, not much money and not an understanding wife :p
However I have a nice deal with my bank so for now I will keep the Vit at least till spring. Just hoping some financial break will come around that allows me to keep it ;)

I think it's likely we will see a 901 Vit/Svart so I can't see the 701 appreciating. Used prices right now are high although that may be more for cars.
