To 18'-19' owners: luggage rack bolt pattern?

Can anyone here share the bolt pattern for rear bag under the pillion seat?
I'm curious about the difference between 2019 and 2020 bolt pattern. I want to buy the Unit garage saddlebag carrier but they don't make one for 2020 model. But if I looked for the tail bag kit from husqvarna, 2019 and 2020 use the same kit. That would imply the distance between the front bolts and the rear bolts are the same... maybe unit garage just haven't got a 2020 model to test fit their product?

Maybe you can post pictures and measurements of your bike's bolt pattern and someone else can help by taking some snapshots and measurements of their earlier bike? I'm not sure what bolts you even mean...

I think you will be good because I fitted the indicator mounts from the 2020 model on my 2018.

Husqvarna were incredibly unhelpful to the point of being rude and refused to acknowledge any details, which was odd due to my previous experience of them. It was obvious to me that from a manufacturing point of view they wouldn't change such a small detail and all the associated parts for no good reason.

I Also have an MG Biketec tail tidy which they told me fits all years although they don't advertise it as such because you need to remove the indicator mounts mentioned.

Just to be clear.

If you intend to fit this;
https//www.unitgarage.com/husqvarna/401 to a 2020 model. You will need to take into account the indicators because it takes the place of the plastic mounting brackets.

You may be able to use spacers and long bolts to use both at the same time but it would lower the rack slightly and that may not be desirable. It would be stronger and quite simple to make an alternative bracket for them if they don't get in the way of the bag.

I believe that model has an alternative mount point on the top of the frame under the seat but haven't seen anything for same which mounts there.

Thank you for following up on this. I totally forgot about the turn signals to be honest. I think the most elegant way to solve the problem is to get a tail tidy kit to relocate the lights further rearward. But that will jack up the cost of the rack significantly with no guarantee to fit...

Would you plan to get rid of the rear wheel hugger where the number plate mounts?

If you swap it for a tail tidy you will end up with water and dirt being thrown forward from the wheel at slow speed going all over the back of you.

Loads of bikes have that design now and it makes a brilliant mudguard being so close to the wheel. I only use mine like that in summer but it's such a hassle removing I may not bother this year.

The tail tidy probably won't be compatible with the rack anyway so you may need to use spacers and long bolts to stack them. This moves the number plate lower as well so it may have to be angled illegally to avoid the wheel.

You're right, I'd probably keep the wheel hugger.. The Svartpilen is one of the few bikes that I think a tail tidy would actually ruin the look.
I guess I'll shelf the luggage rack idea for now.
