Hello, I’m an old guy who has had more than a few bikes over the years; either really fast bikes ( bsa spitfire, law 500, Yamaha Vmax, Yamaha FJR1300) and a few others, or my other love, thumpers.
First was a Harley 165, then a BSA Victor 441 followed by a Yamaha SR500.
Then I started flying and put motorcycles aside.
This summer I got the urge to get another thumper. To my surprise I discovered the Svartpilen701.
I love it. And it’s got way more power than any of my previous singles.
 
Yeah, the 701's "re-write" the performance envelope for thumpers.

Funnest thing is to watch a rider that's used to the Asian made thumpers, expect the same, and get surprised pleasantly.
 
Singles appeal more and more as I get older. Light, narrow, good vibes, decent power, what not to like.
