Svartpilen headlight cover + speedometer conversion to Vitpilen setup/layout ?

Hi, as stated in the title, I'm curious about whether anyone tried to achieve the Vitpilen's headlight and speedometer setup/layout on their Svartpilen. I find the Svartpilen's headlight cover and speedometer position and mount mindbogglingly ugly compared to the very slick and stylish Vitpilen's one, and since these bikes share so much of their DNA, I'm guessing it's possible to go down that route and modify the Svart in order for it to look like a Vit. So if anyone tried this and has some feedback/pictures, I'd be very interested ! Thanks in advance, ride safe.

It should be possible, you would need the headlight mount, the fairing/covers that sit behind the headlight and hold the turn signals, and all the respective mounting bolts, bushings, and nuts.

No, it's more complex than that . . . the rear headlight mount is specific to the triple clamps and the triple clamps are different on these two bikes. At the least, you would have to swap out the triple clamps and everything forward of them. This includes the ignition kit as well.

It's probably doable, but will be a major PITA and expensive. I wanted to get the Vit headlight, and started down this road, but his a roadblock very quickly.

Did the badwinners use the duke 790 triple on their full kit bike, or a custom one, anyone know?

Would be cheaper to fab up some adaptors. Instead of swapping triples. You're moving 4 screws mabey 2 inches max.
