Does anyone knows if the way the pillion/rear seat attached to the motorcycle frame is exclusive to the vit/svartpilens?
Are there any other bikes that use the same attachment?

Probably not considering that there is a difference between the 18/19 models and the 20/21. The early bikes have a shorter pillion seat so even if the catch is in the same place the overall sub-frame is different. You could find a Duke 390 and check, but you'll have to keep in mind that model change.

Thank you for the reply.

I imagined that other bikes would have different measurements, but my question is not so much about the size of the seat; it's more about how common the way the seat attaches to the subframe is.
On the Svartpilen 401 (regardless of the year) the front end of the pillion seat "hooks" on a couple of rubber studs and then swivels down until the pin in the rear end latches.

So the question is, are there other bikes that are similar to this?

My 701 Enduro is similar. Hooks on something at the front, then you push down in the rear and it locks.

There are lots of bikes that are similar if they have a two piece seat. My Triumph Tiger 900 is similar in that it has the two prongs at the front that hook under the rider seat, and a spigot that latches into the frame. We've moved from 'same' to 'similar' so the field has become pretty wide.
