Svartpilen 401 - Leo Vince LV10 Project

Was looking for a new slip on exhaust, came across the Leo Vince LV10 "Full Black" edition... Only one issue, it didn't fit my 2018 model.






Thoroughly wet sanded the exhaust, took all the original paint off and scuffed up the stainless well, after afew coats of primer, colour and clear coat this is how it looks.





For anyone thats interesed ive shown the paint I used below, it's ceramic paint specifically for stainless exhausts. It needs curing - idle for 10 mins then cool, idle for 20 mins then cool ( I did 40 mins total). Says to run under normal conditions for 30 mins after this but haven't had a chance to get out on it yet.

Looks fantastic! Did you get a new badge for it too? Looks brand new, how does it sound?

That is a good finish, does the paint feel hard? VHT from years ago always seemed to stay soft and scratch easy, probably better stuff now though.

Badge is off ebay, cost £3. It's louder and deeper sounds great.

Went tacky when curing but is hard now, think that may just be part of the process.
