Much appreciated to any and all who will take their time to try and assist me. Bike is a 2022 svart 401 with about 600 miles on it. I didd the cat delete and power kit ecu upgrade through coober USA. It ran well last season (post upgrades). Took it out of the basement this year and the bike won't start. Swapped out battery and checked fuses. Further context, the bike will turn over, but not fire. Bump starting it only gets me 1-3 seconds of a very low idle and then it dies. I suspect it could be running very lean. Any and all thoughts would help. I am decently mechanically inclined.

Old gas? Did you put stable in it before storing it?
I did not put any stable in. Bike was stored with tank nearly full. Do you think 6 months is enough time to not start at all? Thanks for the reply.

*also did attempt to start with some starter fluid with negative results

With how lean these things run? It honestly wouldn't surprise me. But a full tank is less than 2 gallons, it is an easy test to siphon it out and put fresh in.

Stay tuned, it's in the works. Also I couldn't find anything diagram related, but does this thing have an adjustment screw or something on the carb to control the fuel intake? This issue aside, they do run so lean

Carb? Friend this bike is fuel injected. If you want to change the mixture you need to buy a FuelX lite for operating in closed loop and a Powertronic for open loop.

You are correct. After taking off the gas tank and checking the connections I felt stupid finding that out. Anyway, I made sure that the plastic 3 way fuel valve wasn't blocked in any direction. However, one of the two other rubber hoses running from the gas tank was badly kinked. I don't know what it's for, but I wonder if that could've been enough for an error of some sort. I couldn't really find anything else that looked out of sorts (to an untrained eye). Gonna run and grab some fresh fuel and see what happens. Hopefully there will be a celebratory video. Thanks again for the reply

If that is the breather I guess you could get a suction problem but I would think the bike would run for a while and then die out. Good luck.

No idea what the problem was. Maybe the breather, maybe the gas, maybe cycling out that valve. Regardless, she coughed through a black plume of smoke and came back to life. It's not allowing the vid to be uploaded though ):

Thank you for the assistance

You are in the US, right? Pretty low octane fuel there? We have 95 and 98 octane here, 98 is recommended for motorcycles. 6 months isn’t enough to make the fuel go bad here but it all depends on the mixture so you might get that problem with your local fuel.

Yeah I'm in the US. I do my best to run ethanol free and the highest octane (usually 93) I can get for all my machines. I've got to do some reading, but does anyone know off hand if the Coober ECU handles the problem with the bike running lean? I have that installed with the cat delete. I'm about 30 miles away from the bike reset at around 615 miles and really want to see if there is a difference without my revs being limited and the engine getting enough fuel.

The entire point of an ECU is to get a good mixture so that shouldn’t be a problem if it’s installed correctly. For low revs you’d benefit from FuelX lite though since that and the ECU operate differently.

The Powertronic remaps all the open loop tables from what I can see. Closed loop operation (low throttle input and relatively low rpms) doesn't get touched, that is why you need a FuelX also. I don't know what the Coober ecu does, you could contact them and ask.
