Hey yall. So as you all know, the suspension on our bikes is not the greatest in the world. Especially for me because i am about 290 lbs when all geared up (im really tall). I was thinking about changing out the cartridges for new ones. I was thinking about the Andreani Cartridge replacement of which can be spec'd to my weight and i was also thinking of going with Traxxion dynamics cartridges. The issue with the Traxxion application is that they do not have ones available for the Vitpilen 701 but they do for the KTM Duke 690. My question is that are the Duke and Vit's front forks the same? Would the Dukes application work? Also, if any of yall have any suggestions on a better setup, i am all ears!

I'm not sure, but you may want to call a reputable KTM/Husky/WP Suspension dealer. The folks at WMR may be able to help you, as they are all three. Coincidently, I bought my Svart 701 from them yesterday. :)

I think you should give them a call. Odds are it’s a straight fit.

So i ended up going the easy route and ordered the Andreani cartridge kit.they are tuning the springs for my weight and i should see them in the next couple of weeks or so. Im hella excited.
