Stuck caliper piston.

I was changing my brake pads and one of the pistons on my front caliper was stuck. I obviously don't want to try and force it, it's pretty stuck. it moved but only slightly and definitely not evenly. Do I need to take the caliper apart and maybe just clean it? if could my seal be bad?

Kind of depends on why it’s stuck.. if you don’t mind bleeding the brakes it might not hurt to pop it out and take a look at the piston, bore and seal.
