Unlike the Svart where you can put a handlebar bag, I'm looking for possible solutions for something similar for Vitpilen? Unfortunately for this it has clipons and i feel the tank bag is too big a solution wherein i'm looking to keep small stuff like change, parking reciepts etc when we are not wearing a motorcycle jacket. Any ideas?

Google ”molle bag”. Molle is a fastening system used in the military. You could easily strap a small Molle bag to your frame. I’ve got one on my tank rack. Just make sure the Molle straps are included with the bag.

- Or use the compartment under the seat.

I have this on mine.

I used a kriega pack coupled with this.

Vits don't get the tank rack option, and for some bizarre reason, Husky doesn't sell it.
A tank bag would still be the obvious choice, but we have a plastic false tank, so simple magnets won't do. That leaves you with straps, but those are cumbersome, annoying, and very easy to screw up for a beginner, still figuring out what they can and cannot strap things to...
Then there are tank lock mechanisms that similar to a Rock Form or Quad Lock, simply clip onto a flange mounted to your gas cap. Buuuut the only company that sells one compatible with Vits/Svarts is Givi.... BUT THEY DON'T SELL THE ADAPTOR IN THE US!
The Givi BF57 Tanklock Tank Ring fits the 401, but it isn't sold in the States.

Haha. I feel your pain brother. I had the same issue with my last bike. Now I just wear my heavy but lovely Kriega Max 28 backpack when I need to bring my laptop or extra clothes, which is everyday since I’m not allowed to leave my laptop at work.

I gave up on finding good bike mounted bags 10 years ago.

Haha, same. I've done the backpack plenty, but these days I've found it a lot less annoying to just keep a bungie net on the back and throw in a useful small overnight bag that I'd acquired years ago from an ex 🤣, using that as my daily commute bag.
It's not quite as easy as a simple one-click clip mechanism would be, but it's very secure, holds my 13" work laptop + clothes, batteries, cables, GoPro gear, lunch, thermal, water/coffee bottle, etc. just fine. I can even squeeze my 96% keyboard into it, although it deforms the bag.
All in all, it gets the job done, and once I'm on the bike, I never notice it's even there, unlike a bulky tank bag which would literally be right in front of my face while leaned in for highway rides.

I get that many new riders feel more comfortable massively overpaying for Husky branded accessories, but the very fact that they half-assed the design of their own tank rack so badly that they then had to design an additional metal plate for their own tank bag, again that looks incredibly simple, unremarkable, and basic, puts me permanently off of buying it, or anything like it, from Husqvarna.

For a quick comparison, check out Givi, Kriega, Nelson Rigg, REAX, etc. and tell me that you got your money's worth on a $200 bag.

They already got plenty out of me when I bought the bike. Manufacturers make a boat load on selling crap accessories like this, just because it's an easy sell in the dealership, or because it comes pre-branded. Harley Davidson is obviously famous for this, but every motorcycle and car brand does this. It shouldn't be rewarded.
The markups on these brand merch cash grabs are ridiculous. they are clearly getting over 50% profit margins on incredibly basic ODM products.

Just my 2¢.

I hear you, I don’t mind most of the husky accessories. The one that pissed me off was the Norden tankbag. I bought it and immediately shitcanned it. I went with a sw-motech tank ring bag. Wish they made an attachment for the vit so I could swap bags back and forth

I'm such a child, I bought the front brake cover and the oil plug and, in the oil plug's defense, if you live where someone is going to sabotage/steal your motor oil, it at least requires a 6mm hex key to remove. These were only $70 CAD so, not the end of the world and the luggage options for the bike do indeed appear weak.

I bought a ton of huskystuff too! Brake reservoir covers. New levers. Oil plug. License plate holder, rear peg delete, windscreen, led turn signals, stainless chain guard, aluminum front fender. I haven’t bought the oil filter cap yet…. And a bunch of these were not available in the USA so I’ve had to order from Germany a few times.

Adhere your magnets to the plastic cover.

Ugly. I'd rather get a magnet large phone bag that's the same size which blends in more with the bike color

But it looks like you couldn't afford the bag intended for the rack so you used something you found laying around the house. At least paint the fabric or something so it blends in.
I didn’t find a small enough bag intended for the rack. The bag was available in black as well, I liked that look. It was also convenient to be able to fill up the bike without removing the bag. The bike is sold now.
