I connected an obd scanner and saw this diagnostic trouble code: P1590. Are these generic KTM codes?
After some googling, it might be
P1590 25 Side stand switch Output signal too low (short circuit to ground) Continues to run.

I have had an intermittent problem with the side stand, usually works fine but sometimes the sensor doesn't recognize the stand being up. The magnet is attached to the side stand so that's not it. After a couple of tries it works.

Anyone else have this? Does the sensor just need to be replaced?

I had a similar problem, on my 2020 SP 701, but the bike would shutdown claiming the stand was still down. Replaced the sensor under warranty but just had the error re-occur. I waited a few minutes and it finally resolved. It also triggered the engine light as well. I ordered a bypass dongle in case I get stranded.

However, I'm worried that it may be a battery issue or a wiring issue. I only have 10k on the bike so far.

I had this problem for a while. Magnet is still there. Got tired of it, removed the sensor and taped a small magnet to it. Has worked fine since. No errors. But of course, no sidestand warning anymore. ;-)
