Shift light flashing

My bike finally hit the almighty milestone of 620 miles yesterday and then the shift light started flashing. It had its first service just before I bought it at around 540 miles. It doesn’t light up in neutral but as soon as I engage first gear the flashing starts. Being a new owner am I missing something obvious? Anyone enlighten me to what’s going on?

TIA

Mark

Ok folks lesson learned, read the book! Page 66 to be precise, at 621 miles you need to set your own RPM1 and RPM2 values 🙄

For anyone thats interested it won't reset 😕

I would like to help but have never experienced any such issue.
I think it’s going to have to go into a dealership or for now have I’ll just have the light covered up 😉

What are your values set at now?
I can't get the display to show RPM1 or RPM2 so I'm unsure but the shift light flashes constantly as soon as its in gear even at standstill.

You have to go into trip 1 or trip 2 counters first then hold mode for 5 secs ( or more). Since the buttons are so hard to press. You may not fully be holding it down long enough to activate

I’m getting it to display trip1 but it doesn’t change when I hold it down. I’ll give it another go 👍

All sorted 👍 it was unfortunate that I arrived home with exactly 621miles on the clock, if it had been another mile the flashing would have stopped and access to the settings available. To be fair the book does say > 621 🙄 what a dipstick I am! Still back to enjoying the bike, I wonder how many others are still under the 621 running in period? Probably not many 2018 bikes
