rough running

2021 Svartpilen-1200mi -stock.
seems to run roughly up to 5k rpm when cruising on rural roads 40-50mph -doesn't really smooth out until 6K. Normal for this bike?

Have you ever ridden a large-ish single before? They aren't terribly smooth until they get some revs in them. Having said that I wouldn't say anything out it is 'rough'.

Anyone in Vermont that can swap bikes with our new friend?
 
Thanks folks-I noticed that my chain was just above the limit on stretch...tightened it to max tight limit and Voila! happily pulls from 4k, much smoother through to red light. I had fun with the TuneBoy app on a Tiger 1050, so will probably get the FuelX lite and see what AI can do for me....
 
New to the forum , But have a RapidBike EVO on my (smashed) GSXS1000 - changed the fueling entirely. I was going tp go down the Rapidbike route with my Aprilia but theres other things available that are way less hassle (simple map flashing)

I after 50miles put a RapidBike Easy onto the Svartpilen & without using the clutch i can coast at exactly 6mph with no stuttering.

I haven't changed the air filter yet.

Bike also came with the akropovic exhaust which i've now removed as I'd havcve to drillout the baffle to get the preferred sound - Just running straight through the Kat!

I'd recommend the RapidBike Easy £149 & Plug & Play & your away , took about 15miles to feel the affect

What settings? I tried +5/+1 & +5/+2 and couldnt notice difference except maybe +2 burns more fuel.. so reverted to +1. DNA airlid and Coffman exhaust here..
