Risers for Vitpilen 701

Loving the bike still. All the mods have made a big difference for not a huge amount of money. Have done over 500 miles since I got it.

I am however feeling the weight on my wrists a bit. I see Gilles do some nice risers but for some reason I can’t chose ship to the UK on their website and they aren’t replying to my emails.

Looking around I can see these type of things popping up a lot. Anyone know if they can be made to fit? I can drill and tap for bolt fitment if required?

Those are cloned (!) Rox risers, right? I fail to see how these would work on the Vitpilen 701. No, they require bar clamps and MX style bars.

Get the Gilles risers, they're a solid product. Someone must be able to ship them to, or sell them in the UK.

There is another handlebar riser for the Vitpilen 701 from Motobike. Maybe they will ship to UK?
Indeed they look more OEM in the matte black finish. But if I remember right, they are expensive.
Because of the price I went with the Gilles also.

hey guys, 2 quick question. are the GIlles risers 7/8" and does the riser allow for rotation forward from the upright position?

They do not allow rotation, their position is more or less fixed. They are conical btw, not fixed 7/8”

I've been trying to get my hands on the ones from motobike but I cant find them to order anywhere. Do you know of any places that sell and ship these?
