Ride Pictures!

First real ride this year. Have been a cold spring so far. All mods done in the winter seem to work out well so far.
Nice you finally got to ride again, I feel for those parked up for months on end while there is snow and very cold...
I like the look of your SC exhaust, how are you finding it, and is it a rear can only or a full system.?

The exhaust is working well. Not to loud when cruising in towns and so, but still a nice sound when trotteling.

Its a rear can that came with a bit of a tube to fit a aprilia if i recall right. Made my own tube to make it fit. Plan is to make a new tube from the header pipe in the future. Would like to keep the "shrouds" so i might just buy a bad winners kit.

Met up with some friends for coffee last weekend

Close observers will note the left rear turn signal has fallen off- or more accurately popped off its rubber mount, and is hanging by its wires. I didn’t notice this till I got home.

The lens was scratched up from bouncing about, but it’s an easy fix: remove the securing screw of the lens, take the lens off, then the reflector pulls straight out with the wires attached. Push the signal body back onto the stalk and slide the reflector back in- it’s base is flanged and holds it all together. Reinstall the lens and screw. Done!

I had hit a pretty large frost heave and jumped the bike- I presume the jolt was big enough to unseat the signal.

...the... rear turn signal has fallen...

Those look loke DOT signals, they been known to do that. Only takes the slightest screwy eyed glance and they play possum.

(My estimation is that the mounts must be more well suited to the original, and much much smaller, E-Approved LED type signals.)

They are the US versions- if they continue to self dismantle like this I’ll change them.
