I did my first 90 minute ride with the 20/21 Ergo Comfort seat. It's a one piece that says Vitpilen on it, but fits the Svartpilen just fine. A little more cushion than the stock seat is a noticeable improvement. It doesn't transform it to a long distance touring seat, of course, but it feels better. I prefer no longer having the split seats so I can move around more comfortably on the hump area since I'm 6'2" and need that space.

Order it from your dealer or preferred supplier. I got mine here:

It's also more cost effective as it seems that they charge you about $150 for this single seat or it's $150 each for the Ergo Svartpilen seats. I prefer the look of the dual seat but then I'm only 5' 8" but twice the cost.....

Looks very nice! I put the regular Vitpilen seat on mine. I intend to cut the hump down some but haven't gotten to that project yet...

Good to know there is at least some more comfort from the ergo seat.. Im also considering this gel seat pad from Tourtec. Has anyone tried it??

I haven't personally used thos gel pads, but I know people who really like them. Personally, I think it depends on what you are looking for.

well, more comfort for the longer rides i guess,,, i even tried padded cycling shorts. Still trying to figure it out 😁

Personally, I just need to move around, so I like flat seats that I can move around on. I dont like "cup shapes" that hold me in place. But if you are pretty stationary and want cushioning, I bet the gel seat might work well for you.
I know some custom seat makers will put gel or memory foam inserts in your seat too...
