So I finally got my 2024 Svartpilen and I'm absolutely loving it. My only peeve is that the version we get here in India misses out on the Cornering ABS and Cornering TC that the international variants get(missing ride modes as well).

My question is, would it be possible to source the IMU and any other required sensors from elsewhere and fit them onto my bike and enable these features through an ECU update?

Would love if any 2024 Svart owners could help me out and could also provide the part numbers and stuff. Thanks!

Why? With so little power, the only time you’ll need TC is when it’s very cold and wet and if you go full throttle.

While that's probably true, I wouldn't mind any extra but of safety, especially with kind of roads and drivers that we have here.

I'm with Yonsson, it won't be worth the expense, if you can get it all to work. Think of it as less things to go wrong.

I rode my 401 2022 for 6000km and I could only make it skid once. It was +4*c, it was wet and I was turning and going full power in first gear. There is zero need for TC and the regular ABS is good enough. I honestly don’t think you would even notice TC if you manage to get this sorted.

Understandable, thanks for the reassurance, and my intention isn't to get this done anytime soon especially when my bike is barely 2 months old.

But I would still appreciate any help or guidance to possibly look into it a few years down the line just as maybe a personal project, and to stick it to the local manufacturers who thought they were being funny.

It’s very strange it’s not included since it’s part of the advertising.
It is just their way to make it less expensive in certain markets. In SE Asia they remove the spoked wheels and adjustable suspension from the 2020-2023 Svartpilen 401 and it seems like they were about 600USD to 1000 cheaper than in the US.

A very good price then.

Going to agree.

I wouldnt spend money on that, would get straight away a Rekluse Clutch instead.

(Now on a 160+ hp 4-cylinder bike it would be a different story)
