Projekt racing tail tidy

Here is a pic of the mounting, as you may see I have the KTM Original Upgrade Chain Guard for the 390 duke.

The stock one has a plastic, so I am guessing that it may work, or may need a bushing in the hole so the plastic doesnt crack.. either way...
In the picture below, it looks like with a chain guard mounted (red line) you would need a distance spacer or a couple washers (green circled screw) to compensate for the chain guard thickness; then it should work

Maybe @Projekt Racing will respond as they are a forum member too.

thanks for the interest! The stock chain guard will work with it! some countries may need to trim the end of the chain guard though as the larger size of the license plate may hit

Hi Projekt Racing,
Would it be possible to place mounting holes onto the 3d printed license plate mount so as to attach the factory LED light?

Hi Projekt Racing,

no, this part is to thin for this. we recommend moving the turn signals below the seat with LED strips, they're very visible when lit up but barley visible when off.

Yeah, those lights are cool, but if you want street legal the DOT/E-Number are necessary.

So, is it possible to adapt something so that the stock light fits?

So I pulled the trigger on the @Projekt Racing Tail Tidy and a couple of sets of turn signal spacers to go with some Motogadget turn signals. I’ve got to say, I’m very impressed. The tail tidy and spacers fit very well (see pics). If there’s anything I’d like to see on the license plate mount, is a revision to the 3-D print to include a factory LED mount to create a “No Wire Splicing” kind of Mod. The cool thing about this tail tidy is, if and when Projekt Racing decides to render a revision of the license plate mount, there will be no need to purchase the whole tail tidy, only the license plate mount. Overall, I’m very satisfied with these mods. They fit the minimalistic theme of the bike very well.
