We also are a dealer for Nitron, Ohlins, Andreani and can get you setup with a fully custom suspension system for your riding style and weight
We are also a Competition Werkes Exhaust Dealer which in our opinion are by far the highest quality exhaust you can get for the the 401

More things to come! Check out ProjektRacing.com and give us a follow at instagram @ProjektRacing if youd like to stay the most up to date

That looks amazing, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high as I see those are pre-2020 vits. Has compatibility with 2020+ models been tested?

Can you post some about the project? Like how you are making the panels? Pictures of the molds or other cool stuff? This is fascinating!

That is a concern of ours too, luckily the only thing that will get in the way possibly is the exhaust routing which can be back dated to the 18-19 exhaust by swapping out the exhaust system which should be doable around 300$ with competition werkes cat and chamber delete and a 18-19 header

Yeah I'm really interested in that as well. It reminds me a bit of the Aero concept. At one point I had grand plans of getting some sculpting foam and actually sculpting some pieces that could be used to make molds, but this is doubtless better than anything I would've come up with. The wheel is very interesting as well. Is that something you have in the works?

My initial concern was that the side tank panels are not swappable between 18-19 and 20+ and I was not sure if there were changes in the dimensions that might limit compatibility with your kit. If compatibility can be established I can pretty much guarantee you an order.

We have been working on this as a sort of pandemic side "projekt" Stared 3D modeling the parts and then 3D printing them. Test fitting and adjusting which takes a long time when certain parts can take days to print. After the fitment was sorted all of the parts needed to be sanded and surfaced and then molds needed to be made which are in progress currently. After Molds the final mounting brackets can be finalized and then the Pre Orders can start!

Even More of the Process can be see on our instagram @ProjektRacing

Yes, in the future we are looking into making a rear wheel cover, haven't started prototyping that yet though. There is a Local 2020 Vitpilen so we will be able to test fit the fairing, if there are dimensional changes to the tank width there should be enough flex in the fiberglass to allow fitment to all years

I was never a big fan of fairings but I think this looks absolutely fantastic. Love that front fender. Would be curious to hear about the installation process and moving the front headlight forward.

Also would love to see a single seat option available to allow for moving the rider position rearward and perhaps adding some additional comfort. I think there would be good interest in that from 401 owners.

Thank you! We are working on making the installation process easy so anyone can do it. the headlight will be moved forward with a provided metal bracket that will also support the fairing.

I am not sure what you mean by a single seat option, could you provide some more detail? maybe a simple drawing

I've been envisioning a racing tail that removes the pillion seat. Made out of fiberglass or plastic that follows the top line of the fuel tank better. Something analogous to this (but obviously something that better suits the lines of the 401 tank)

I'm hoping to work on it myself at some point but it would take me a year to design / create and I suspect there would be a market for something like this, especially for someone with some 3d design talents like y'all have. Bonus points if you can change the way the seat is mounted so you can have better cushioning.

I have been searching high and low for this kit. I am ready to buy for sure. Do you guys have a release date and a price for this yet?

I must admit I am confused why you would design for a bike that is not in production any longer ('18-'19) instead of the current model?
