Did you watched the series opener of the AMA outdoor motocross championship? During my vacation in 2015 I visited the race at Glen Helen.
Yes, I did catch the outside MX opener. I watched it on TV, as you can see so much more that way. Funny thing, I just got back from Fox Raceway. (It's my "home" track.) They had some mini bikes out on the course today. Here's a pic for you!

I think I could loose about another 1kg from the weight but it would make the bike less usable ( magnetic tank bag mount and Giles handlebar risers and a few more titanium bolts) the biggest difference was removing the great looking spoked rims as they were heavy and all the weight was in rim not the hub making the rotational weight even more

I have the feeling i get better grip with the spoke wheels... but yes they are heavier.
Either way, the wave discs i got on my 5spoke wheels are worth 400g savings total.

A different chain would shave another 200-300g and Michelin tires also shave a few hundred grams with their Arimid belt instead of steel.

Edit: Surprisingly, the featherweight of LV10 is very noticeable, but doesnt outweight the loss of top-end vs Akro for many typical riding scenarios.

The laced rear wheel/tire combo shown on my bike a few posts up, weighs 35.6 pounds.

I neglected to weigh the front, but it's gotta be 20+ pounds by itself, too.

Since this is a picture thread, here's a pic!
