Hello,
I finally finished the modifications on my 701 to get closer to the design of the first prototype.
Dual front disc and now the addition of the side-mounted K&N filter.
About the air filter — this is my latest modification
🙂
.
This project required designing several custom parts that I 3D printed, including the intake pipe, the side cover, and the oil tank support. It involved a lot of testing and many hours of work.
If anyone is interested, I will likely offer a complete digital kit for sale including the STL files ready for 3D printing, a step-by-step installation guide, and a detailed list of all the required hardware.
If you're interested, feel free to send me a message and I’ll provide more details.IMG_1256.jpegIMG_1258 (1).jpegIMG_1260_2.JPG

Looks great! When I worked on mine the biggest problem to me was trying to match the belly pan style of the concept. I added a front piece to tie the two side covers together but it is still pretty far off. Cutting down the stock muffle was easy too but the fancy exit would be really hard.

Thanks !
I also spent a lot of time and went through many 3D printing trials before finding a side cover design that worked for me. Do you have any photos of your modification?

Where did the wheels come from? Which motorcycle’s wheels were used?
Did you need to change anything else — spacers or shim washers, for example?
