Obd2 adapter

First ride after winter and I have a check engine light come on. I did some work on the bike, heated grips and turn signals. Maybe I mucked it up. Anybody know what sort of adapter I would need to connect a code scanner for my vitpilen 701?

Do you recall if your connector has 3 metal connection points? I ordered a “6pin” adapter but I only see 3

Seems like that cable is for k-line. You should have one for can bus. where did you order yours? I can check my cable later for comparement.

Yeah it is Kline. Bought it from Amazon, it’s supposed to be compatible with a Duke 690 so I figured it would work. Thanks for the info on canbus

There is a new standard for this connector used on later bikes. It has a red connector.

I got a new adapter. It actually has 6 pins. I connected it to a Bluetooth scanner which logs data as a ride. Pretty neat
