Non-husky ride to death valley

Thought folks might be interested in seeing some pics from a ride trip to Death Valley from Santa Cruz on my new (to me) MultiStrada

Rode with my riding group - 1300miles, 4 days, 23hours of saddle time through California back country to Death Valley... mine's the white Strada. Average age of riders 65 with three of us over 70.

Kept off of freeways, lotsa twisty roads with a bit of droning across the central valley.

It was 95F in the valley floor - fine as long as we were riding. It's very dry so not too bad. The eastern ridge was in the mid-80s. So great weather. In a month it will be 100F then 115F in June.

Rich is amazing on the Yamaha - usually he has a backpack on as well, but this time we had a chase vehicle. He did say this trip that watching me all comfy and cosy on the Strada made him envious
