Introducing myself as new to the 701 family. Just bought a 2019 Svart about a month ago and really loving it.

- Custom headlight guard (originally for a 401 but I made custom mounting brackets for it to fit the 701)

Welcome to the forum And to the Svart701. How fun is that bike to ride anywhere?

Looks like the O2 sensor has been removed and with that “R” logo on the engine I’d bet a fuel dongle is plugged into the harness in its place.

+1 if you still have the original handlebars Or street rubber to go with those clubmans.
 
I kinda like those bars. Ergo must be between vit and svart, which I would sure like.
 
Agreed it looks badass.
just seems mismatched with clubman bars which are for road racing and knobby tires for off road.
Just fundamentally wrong.
 
I am also a new owner, of a 2019 Svartpilen 701 'Style', seemingly standard except a Leo Vince single end can and Triumph Bonneville mirrors.
I've only ridden it the once, 90 miles home from when I collected it, but I love the engine and riding position; just what I was after, following years of big, heavy bikes.
The only gripes I have so far - fuel gauge is useless. Went from 110miles range to empty in 50 miles of 70mph motorway riding! When I filled up, it only took 8 litres. What should the tank capacity be (assuming the fuel tank mod has been done?)
Second gripe is there is so little space under the pillion pad you can't even get the straps of my Kriega tail pack! I have now bought a side pannier carrier that I hope to fit soon. Anyone got any tips on luggage? Tank bags? I won't do touring, but I would like to go away for a weekend on it and stay in a hotel!

Do you have more pics of headlight guard bracket. Can you make more
 
Hi Folks,
Just got my '23 701 Supermoto. Have not ridden it yet due to weather and salt on roads here in Western NC, but that will come soon.

I easily removed the frame decals, replaced the mirror(s), added a battery minder cable, found and replaced the flasher relay with one suitable for LEDs, and so forth.
