I traded my beloved 2008 Moto Guzzi Norge for a 2020 401 Svartpilen with only 4,400 miles on it yesterday. Am going to experiment with doing day rides from my van with a hitch mount rack rather than epic, fully loaded cross country rides. I've owned 3 Buell Lightnings in the past, and the Svartpilen has a similar riding experience but lighter weight. I love a v-twin, but the Svartpilen's motor is quite fun. First thing I did when I got it home was to make a tail tidy and deleted the back fender. The prior owner had nice, laser cut racks installed with Wolfman waterproof bags. I removed them since I don't plan to schlep gear with me when I ride. Will try to sell them. Anyway, nice to be here! Pics below show bike with bags on my way home, then after the tail tidy.
