I took a gamble and ordered a KTM 390 chain guard from eBay... and it fit! Here is a before and after:
The new one is aluminum, but is still lighter than the stock plastic one. It doesn't wrap around the inside, and won't protect the shock and wheel from chain splatter as well as the original. But that isn't a big problem here in Southern California.
I like it!
