New Bike, now all I need is a Plaid Shirt.

Just bought a plain shirt recently in white/black muhaha... was it under recall or did you got it just as preventive ?look good those sigu , i visual like the rekluse a bit more

Track circulation requires a race compound... unless you don't mind switching from 1-finger to 2-finger braking Er.... Otherwise, stock pads are perfect for street.
Any idea how the AP racing version compares to the Brembo Race compound pads? Cost difference?? Thanks.

I went with the AP ones because they should be "bitey'er" and still streetable / plenty for the 300lb Vitpilen.

Here is chart:

Here are the street Brembo:

and the Race Brembo:

i couldn't choose between ap racing and brembo, so braking P50 get his chance ..(and it's street legal in germany)..
they do not have a temperature on their table, but brake pressure :cautious:

ktm forum says to much initial bite isn't good, because abs will kick in to soon. this should be the reason why ktm changed from the old 4 pad setting per caliper in dukes without abs to 2 pads per caliper as in the vitpilen. The 4 pad setting types should have much more inital bite and is still raced by those guys who thrown out their abs..

I think the curves shown by Braking are also over temperature at the x-axis (without numbers or unit), but grouped in three different brake pressure diagrams.

Regarding initial byte the Brembo SC starts cold by 50 °C already at 0,75 friction coefficient. That is higher than AP or Braking can reach in total.
@Max Kool what are your experience with the Brembo SC pads regarding to ABS interventions?

There are also EBC Goldstuff brake pads, that are figured out as a good alternative in a Suzuki 1000er forum. But I can't find any brake coefficient/temperature diagram for them.

@bartiger Do you already had a chance to test ride the braking P50 brake pads? How do they perform in comparison to the original ones?
That P50s are street legal in Germany is a big advantage against the Brembo SC/SR brake pads.

No not yet.. currently I wait for my new shock to arrive..
But brembo SC is also street legal in Germany since last year.. I just got braking because of good marketing from offroadbiker at the KTM forum and a special price at black Friday..
