I recently bought an old Husqvarna 250CR of FB marketplace for $100. Figured I could easily part it out and make a little cash. However upon further inspection the bike is in better shape than I expected other than 2 decades of grime. It doesn't have spark but everything else seems ok compression wise, etc. I would like to try and get this bike back on the trails and possibly restore it but I'm having trouble ID'ing the year to find to right parts, etc. According to Husqvarna's Serial #'s, It should be stamped on the bottom of the steering stem of the frame but this one is stamped more on the bracing where the tank connects. No stamps on steering anywhere. I apologize for my ignorance as I am very new to Husqvarnas.
According to the ID chart the serial should start with MJ in 72 to MM in 79. Mine is simply stamped 1_101973, so I assumed it was a 73 till I found the Husky ID lookup chart. The tank is also stamped FR771B.
I attached a few photos. Any help is greatly appreciated. Especially if you have a ignition wiring diagram.
Thanks, John.

The tank, and the exhaust pipe are worth $$$ to rebuilders. Especially if they're dent free. Yup, I'd rebuild it and take it to vintage MX races. Looks like most everything is there. Great foundation, for sure. Post up when you get it running. Or, show us where you are with it, anyway.
