Layed down my 21’ svartpilen 401 and broke the front brake lever and rear brake pedal. Who’s got a line on parts or a link I haven’t spotted?

Quickest way to get the part is to buy a rearset that has it attached on eBay.

Everytime I broke a front lever off I brought the "nub" with me to the local KTM (irrelevant of whether the bike was Honda or Yamaha or whatever)

Always had something laying around and were highly motivated in exchanging it for moneys.

Rear is gonna be 8nternet auction, or a bailing wire duct tape fix until the parts arrive.

I've repaired the front brake lever from a friend's MV Agusta which had the ball end snapped off. A new lever was going to cost something like $400 out of Italy.

I drilled a hole near the end and screwed in a short countersunk head bolt with a nyloc nut, the nut on the front face of the lever. Then I coated that with metal epoxy and built up a new ball end. Once that was sanded smooth I dipped it in black gloss paint several times so the paint soaked into the epoxy until I had a gloss finish. And that was it except that the lever was a touch shorter than original. The lever went back on the bike and the thing passed the registration test and got back on the road.

Whenever looking for levers for a bike I start with the Pazzo Levers web site to see what other bikes use the same lever.
eg When I was looking for a Husqvarna Nuda 900R front brake lever I noticed that several Ducatis used the same lever, so bought a Ducati Hypermotard lever (ie easily found on eBay).
The 401 uses the same brake lever as the KTM 200 and 390, but nothing else. Likewise for the clutch lever.
