More than a fly screen, less than a fairing.

It's a Dart Marlin, intended for a Triumph T1OO orT120. Available at Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Dart-Marlin-Flyscreen-Windshield-Triumph/dp/B07B53Y3L4?th=1
RevZilla, Cycle gear , etc.

It took a lot of work to adapt it for use on a Svart, cutting, bending then riveting extensions on to the Triumph mounts, as well as beginning with remounting the stock headlight 1" forward to achieve the rake and instrument visibility I wanted.

It's supposed to fit around a 7" headlight but I took a chance and darned if it didn't fit the Svarts 8" light perfectl

Sounds like a lot of work and you did a great job. Looks cool while being functional.

Hi, screen looks great im thinking about copying you for my Svart.

How did you remount the headlight? did you have to use custom brackets?

This shows the center mount adapter made from alum. bar stock 1/8" thick. It is drilled 1" center to center on the holes. You will also notice a 1/4" spacer at the back attachment point to provide the necessary offset. The two side adapters are made the same way except this center one is taped at the headlight end for one less nut and easier adjustment.

The top of the bracket that is provided with the fairing and mounts the screen, is cut to length and rebent to the necessary angle. The bottom part , made from 1/8" alu. bar stock is bent to match and riveted on to add the necessary length.

I hope that helps. You will need to be up for some trial and error.

Uuuh and what about those golden forks?
That is a vvivid wrap. I recently had to remove the flat gold for servicing a fork seal leak as the fork tubes will not slide out with it on.

Not fond of the black, I went back on with a gold chrome or faux anodized look just for a change.
Easy way to provide a custom look that can changed for $11 on a whim.

So what looks better , stock, anodized gold, flat gold or something else entirely?

I think you should have stuck with the black and deleted the reflector and red trim. The gold/copper clashes with the aluminum/grey components on the bike...looks unfinished to my eye. Abolish the yellow radiator reflector as well.
British racing green and steel/aluminum with black frame would work very well indeed.

Thanks for commenting. I appreciate your time, interest and input.

My only slight regret is the gold chrome forks which I still prefer to black stock, but are bit too pretentious and flashy. The satin gold is a little more to my liking but I had to remove it to fix a fork seal, and wanted to experiment when replacing it.

I think the gold goes great with with BRG, but as you say, maybe no so much with all the silver. I would have the done the wheels in satin gold, but for all work involved to do it correctly.
I thought the radiator reflectors were a clean means to retain some night visibility while getting rid of the awful fork reflectors.
Anyway, I will be selling the bike soon and the buyer seems happy with the custom work, so water under the bridge at this point.
I had a lot of fun redoing the bike and undoubtedly spent more time doing that than actually riding. I got bored with it once out of ideas.

I've got a cheap windscreen dedicated to Svartpilen from Aliexpress - it's pretty invisible from a distance and it does the job. In a review on Aliexpress, you can see more photos of how I had to bend the mounts a little because it wasn't perfectly fitting.
