More than 6400 Husqvarna 401 sold in the last year!

So what the matrix tells us is that I am like one of the 71 other people in the world who would buy a bike in November... 🥶

I bought my bike on 1st April. They don't even have April on their chart. Perhaps I'm no more than a character in somebody's else's dreams and imagination. o_O

Just for clarification when Bajaj is counting a bike as sold is likely when it is purchased by the dealership keeping in mind that the end user is the customer of the dealership and the dealership is the customer of the manufacturer. Now my guess is that dealerships don't have a ton of these bikes just sitting around gathering dust as can be the case with auto dealerships, but the matrix likely represents a best case sales scenario where an order is placed by the end user with the dealership which in turn places the order with Bajaj. While that may represent some cases it certainly wasn't true of mine where it and a Vit 401 and 701 were all available for purchase right off the showroom floor.

Amazing numbers actually. I wonder how the 701 did.
Apparently not great ... just came from the garage. Vitpilen is out of production, since the demand ain't high enough. Wonder if I should keep mine as an investment instead of selling it when my Norden 901 arrives.

I posted in the other thread that a total of 1500 701s were imported into the US, Vit and svart combined per the fuel tank recall docs. Would be nice to know the number worldwide, was the recall worldwide? I assume each country would have the same kind of documentation. Hoping they depreciate for at least a couple years so I can pick up a backup vitpilen.

There are a few youtube reviews that compare the Svart 701 with the KTM 690. Most people say the Svart is the more fun bike but the sales seem to reflect something else in the mind of the buying public.
