More Rubbers (please)

So the Conti RoadAttack convinced you more than the Bridgestone Battlax S21. Did you tried the S22 or even the S23 somewhere?

What do you feel with the alu rear sprocket against the steel rear sprocket? Or is it a different teeth number (gearing)?

I was considering the S23 or Power 6 and decided I would like to try the SM 2 with all of the Conti advertisements saying longer wear.

Am also interested in the new Roadtec 02 once they are available.

The S21 are Hard as f... none the less they perform really well.

Update to my preferred pressure:

Angel GT2: 32 / 35 psi
Power 5: 30 / 31 psi
S21: 33 / 36.5 psi

These Metzelers are fun.
There were some damp sections today, and I didnt have any issues.
Found some gravel as well, likewise no issues.
Seem like they'd make it pretty good as street tires, if only the front had more than 2 something mm tread new...

Stylish 🙈🙈🙈
As for handling performance its hard to tell as the tires make up alot of the weight, and the Metzlers are agile as f...

You noticed the gold chain in the lates pic, or...

And no, I dont weight the tires, Michelins are lighter because they use aramid instead of steel belt

How do you change the tire yourself making sure you do not damage the rim or the rubber? I've read it's really easy to mess things up, despite how easy it looks on youtube videos.
Any suggestion for good tools?

I use a tire assembly tool, I think there is a post on here somewhere.

So, the Racetec needed exactly 800miles before the front was illegal; rear had around 3mm remaining.

Took the SM2 out and they are pretty good, kinda wasnt 100% satisfied with the pressure I ran.

Will see next time if I can get it right.

Figured I would give the Dunlops a go at one point after the SM2 are done; they are one of the few sets of tires also available in a H-Speed.

We'll see, I may also swap back to the other wheels with Road 4 to get a direct comparison between the two Conti tires...

N'E Ways, this is what the H-Grade Dunlops look like:

Rolling the Rosso4 Tires again, this time on the wire spoked wheels.

It amazes me how different the bike rides with only changing to different tires.

And really though, the thrust boost on the Rosso 4 is so hilarious.

I was talking to someone about the Rosso 4 tires behavior and why I thought they were cool when they asked whether I saw the FortNine video about tires, which at that point in time I had not.

Something to do with the shape of the tire and the thrust boost probably refers to the term camber thrust.

You can easily see when looking at the tire that the shape is different.
