In addition to previously added fly screen , tail tidy , bar end mirrors, LED front blinkers:

Fork reflectors removed. Radiator end caps altered to fit reflective strips, forks vinyl wrapped.
New aluminum muffler guard fabricated.
Counter sprocket cover drilled and painted in Dupicolor Graphite gray wheel paint, to match after market aluminum chain guard intended for Duke 390.
Tail tidy painted satin black.
Side panel red pin stripes added.
Painted foot peg/muffler supports satin black. In stock silver, the big casting drew the eye in a bad way. This was tough, requiring a lot of disassembly, seems like half the bike's components are attached here, and the swing arm and motor mount through bolts must be taken out, masking not being practical.

Most recently, cleaning up the bars.
I had intended to just grind off the cross bar mounts and touch up the bare spot, but as the bars were textured, matching up the bare spots was not possible. As long as I was having to repaint the entire bar why go back with boring black? Used Dupicolor bronze wheel paint instead.

I had also intended to paint the head cap bolt but in prepping for paint, A light polish made it look acceptable without worry about paint chipping when wrenching might be needed.

Fenrir. They came with the used bike, along with the stock mirrors and another set for the stock location. These gave the best view back, but a little too small and hard to keep tight.

I had a pair of similar mirrors that were weak in the swivels.

I disassembled the mirror, put a teeny tiny lock washer into the swivel pit, and reassembled the mirror.

It completely eliminated the problem.

Tight at the swivels. They loosen at the bars when bumped anti-clockwise, but can usually be re tightened by pulling them clockwise by hand.
It does not seem to matter how tight you torque the attachment screws.

Yes, from what I hear, the best quality and a bit bigger too. In most states, like here, 2 are required, so pricey.
I saw someplace, I forget where, decent quality knockoffs are available for a lot less.
Anybody know about those?

I had the Husqvarna bar end mirrors on my previous bike. I stupidly messed one of them up when removing it from the bar.

They are works of art but I'd never pay the asking price, they were a gift.

The stock mirrors are great as mirrors with mirror extenders, so good that I'm hesitating to get bar end mirrors.

The Husqvarna bar end mirrors are manufactured from Highsider. They offer the same mirrors under their own brand (only difference is the logo) for much less money.

Awesome! Do they ship worldwide?

edit: Oups, Europe only..

I realize it is just a matter of personal taste, but I never could warm to flat black, but I bought the bike anyway knowing from long before purchase , I would have to do something about it.

British racing green, classic but not common. Not too flashy, not too dull.
I will post a couple more photos in couple of days when I can get it outside. The right side panel is still off, painted but not cut and buffed yet.

Yes. Also recently removed passenger grab handle and foot pegs. Too bad the exhaust header on these is so ugly. The early models were much better.
