Got my bike back from man in the box. They have alot of great items for the vit/svart if you have a chance I'd def check them out. So They needed a 2021 to make the new template since the bolts wouldn't line up from previous years. Have to say it turned out amazing and I'm guessing they will be available for the 2021 on their website. https://mnnthbx.com/

Very cool. Will be nice to have one that people can buy and fits right!
I just wish it had a full rectangular plate behind the entire license plate. Some plates are pretty flimsy.

I agree partially,

As far as full size goes, all plates are different sizes, and Metal is Heavy, and we all are willing to spend hundreds to save a few grams, so to consequently follow through for both, the plate holder should be suitable for all plate sizes and at the same time be as light as possible.

And yes most plates are flimsy, so I used a plastic plate holder to increase the stability and keep it light... I am a fan of 3 point mounting though  (¾ the weight)

Looks nice and simple, although would like the angle to be adjustable. I'm not sure that angle would be compliant (in Australia).

I contacted man in the box to see if it would fit the 2021 Svartpilen 401. They said it should and offered to pay for shipping both ways if it does not, as long as it is returned in perfect condition. Losing that unsprung weight makes it very tempting.

I received the MNNTHBX fender eliminator last night for my Vitpilen 401 and threw it on the scale and it came in at 244 grams or 0.54lbs. Quality seems really good and can't wait to compare the weight loss by removing the factory fender/

Good morning, do you think this license plate holder is suitable for a 2020 Vitpilen 401 with the smaller indicators version? that is, will adaptations be needed or is there no need?Thank you

I'm not sure about the clearance for the 2020 indicators but here are some photos of the tail tidy on my 2023 model with aftermarket sequential LED signals. The tail tidy is extremely well designed and engineered (and very light). There's limited space for the signal height depending on the width.

I don't think I've commented on the exhaust before. I don't mind the hugger on some bikes but my goal for this bike was weight reduction and the MNNTHBX tail tidy was perfect for relocating the plate and eliminating the 5.65lb hugger assembly from the bike.

Not much to tell, I removed the factory muffler and attached an exhaust tip to the bottom to give it a more finished look.

Vitpilent 401 weight loss:
1) Replace factory signals with LED signals -1.00 lbs
2) Remove hugger, replace with MNNTHBX tail tidy -5.11 lbs
3) Remove exhaust, replace with aftermarket tip -4.09 lbs
4) Replace factory foot pegs -0.04 lbs
5) Replace stock mirrors -0.62 lbs
6) Remove rear passenger pegs -2.51 lbs
7) Remove rear grab handle -1.37 lbs
8) Remove bottom bash plate -3.06 lbs
9) Remove tool kit -1.70 lbs
Total saved -19.50 lbs

And the bike feels more lively without the extra 5lbs sitting on the swingarm

@Lozion I had to remove the inner baffle on the shorty pipe in order to fit my bike but I read the older models will fit with the baffle.
