Max RPM?

I have a Rottweiler Fuel dongle, I'm trying to decide on which Slip-on too get, and maybe getting an open air box lid or putting some holes on it.

Will those 3 mods together require an ECU change?

What other performance mods can be added to the above before an ECU is necessary/recommended.

As long as you don’t remove the cat, you should be good.

Been running a removed airbox cover, Rottweiler fuel dongle and open Akra slipon myself. Runs like a champ!

Oh sweet! That's pretty much the set-up I want to get, except for the slip-on, I'm still trying to make up my mind between, the all black LV, the Competition Werkes, or a turn down tail tip with a db-killer directly after the cat.

Regular air filter or K&N. What's better with no airbox cover?

K&N gauze type air filters are great if you enjoy cleaning them all the time.
Think about it, with all the competition between manufacturers looking for performance gains, if the gauze-type filter was an overall benefi, you can bet your a$$ they would be OEM.

I get your point. And I guess some manufacturers do have those as OEM in some models/trims.
However, my question was intended to find out if the K&N would be better or worse combined with the open box mod.
Perhaps I should have said that I already had a K&N filter installed before deciding to remove the lid, therefore I was trying to find out if I should go back to the OEM filter when I remove the lid.

It doesn't matter. No power benefits with a K&N (or any other airfilter for the stock airbox). With or without lid.

Isnt that exactly why people choose k&n though, because with crazy amount of dirt blast, it still stops 96% compared to 99% of the paper while working to reduce restriction by a more than 50%.

The lack of duration before clogging is also very impressive given that model a k&n has 30 pleats vs. 100 pleats, and they are visually about half as long...

Means in conclusion, the k&n is much better for specific applications?

*sigh*

They may be, but for general purpose (especially when you’re never reaching the airflow limits in the first place), they give no benefits. Drawbacks yes, faster ring wear, more valve adjustments required.
