Still waiting on my mag wheels and fork parts so I decided to weld a connector for the front fairings since I didn’t like how it looked.. didn’t turn out too bad but I am not that great at sheet metal work. I got a bunch of paint swatches and the closest I could find to the white is Fords Oxford White, seems to be a close match.

Looks good, but going to get dirty. Won't be white for long.

I thought of blue or a blue/white stripe, but couldn't come up with a scheme that looked right with the current paint setup.

True about the dirt, but with the white tail I am already stuck washing the bike almost constantly.. the biggest problem so far has been rock chips.. I like the stripe idea, the plain black fairings just seemed out of place, I am probably going to have to put a husqvarna sticker on it or something to kind of break up the large plain space.

What about using the other colors to make it cool, this was my first thought:

Yeah something like that would look good too, just hard to visualize, guess I need to get into photoshop.. I am planning on doing white mag wheels with the dual front disk setup so I’ll probably recevaluate it then and see if I can get some blue on it..

Have you thought about having it wrapped? A transparent plastic wrap will give good protection from stone chips.
I have some 3m wrap left over that I put on the tank to protect it that worked really good, maybe I’ll have to give it a shot, I didn’t initially because it gets so hot

I actually stripped it down and redid the lower part and paint. Put 3m protective film on the front part to protect from road grime and rocks. Isn’t noticeable from about 3 ft away.
