I have heard that the LCD dash is hard to read and one of the weaker points to these bikes. Does that ring true for those with experience on them?

I wonder if the TFT off the 390 could be retrofitted for the Svart? I think that would make an awesome upgrade for a bike that is as futuristic as it is retro.

My LCD display isn't hard to read, but it's not the nicest thing to look at, and definitely not up there with the rest of the cool looks of the bike. Mine has condensation inside it which is a pain though.
Isn't Badwinners doing replacement TFT Dash screens? Expensive though.

Personally, all digital displays have glare and brightness issues. I'd prefer a regular dial gauge, at least for the tachometer.

I had also read that, but last update I could find was an Instagram comment from 27 weeks ago and their website is now inaccessible. Shame if they went down I would've considered buying whatever solution they came up with for the SP401. The display is the weak link on an otherwise stylish bike.

I really like the LCD gauge. It goes well with the style / idea of the bike.

1. Its position is not in front of your face, implying that you should not be looking at it
2. It has low accuracy (bars instead of numbers) implying that you should not be relying on it
3. It's dials are not visually obtuse (or distracting) implying that you should be fully concentrated on enjoying riding

Well I guess someone had to like it. I want a gauge that's as nice to look at as the rest of the bike, that's easy to read, accurate, and works properly. Sadly the gauge on my bike isn't really those things.
