So after around 500 miles of gravel, and sand fire road riding this lady weekend Im curious if a 19" front wheel off of a KTM 390 adv would swap into the svart fork with everything lining up (abs, break, and so on. I feel it would be a little better for the riding I typically do, and gives more options in terms of tire combinations. 2023 svart 401. 1000008874.jpg

First thing to look at is if there is enough clearance at full down travel of the front forks for the fender or wheel to clear. Looking at mine I have 4 inches of down travel and the front fender only has about 4.25" before it would hit the lower triple clamp. A 19" tire will be about 1" taller than the 17" so won't work on mine.

I would need longer forks.

Literally on the same page as you have posted about 7 posts down a member has put a KTM 390 adventure front end on his svartpilen.
He put the adv front end on with the adv front wheel. It's also a year renge compatibility question why I stated the year. I want to leave the stock fork on at this point.

I took a measurement and radius of two specific tire radius both would leave well over the required clearance. The bigger question is if the abs infrastructure would be compatible to the wheel, and the rotor. They seem to be the same but use different part numbers. Even though many aftermarket rotors state they fit moth models.

The front abs ring is for speedo reading also so it will not be accurate, I believe you can reprogram the dash for the bigger wheel but do not know for sure. Seriously, have you tried a pm to the guy who did the conversion? He states he is willing to help with info even though he has sold the bike.

Yes I pinged him a while back, and again last week.

I seldom pay attention to the speedo ascots less accurate as my gps which I typically rely on. It covers most the speedo and cluster anyway. So if its simply a speed discrepancy I'm fine with it. I did see he was able to swap the 17 stock wheel into the adv forks without issue. So if it's reverse compatible I can only assume it's the same.
