Hey all. New here. Just a quick hello. I had a 2018 and sold it to move on to so some other motorcycles - but saw a '23 advertised at a price I couldn't say no to.

Picked it up on Saturday.

Quick question - anyone have a link to the 2023 service repair manual?

Second question - I don't remember neutral being IMPOSSIBLE to find on my old 18... its REALLY tough (though it is still brand new..)

The Svartpilen I took on test ride had 10 milles on the clock and neutral was vert hard to get from first but easier from second, try a gentle tap down.
I am very lucky as the one I actually bought is a breeze to get neutral from first or second. Not that I am bragging.
Is that a blurry Porsche behind your Vit?

Man. Hopefully mine breaks in a bit!

The car is one of my other favorite toys.

A 73 Datsun 240z. It's a driver! It's swapped with a cammed 2.8 instead of the original 2.4 and it's a 5 speed instead of a 4 speed.

A 240z, even better than a porshe. Sorry i saw the windscreen angle and the tiny rear window…. You sir have good taste in vehicles.
The link to the service manual is in the top forum on here. Everything Husqvarna motorcycles, road and off road. It is the 12th thread down. Sorry I’m not good on computers and do not know how to do links.

Thank you!

The 240z was a dream car of mine as a kid.

I eventually got this off an older guy one state over in PA a few years back. He had it for 10+ years. It was garaged and driven on weekends. Previously it was in a TX. It's in decent shape! Super fun and just the best looking car!

I've got 2800 miles on my '22 Vit and it's now MUCH easier to find neutral.

It's partly because it's broken in and partly because I've muscle memoried the technique.

I struggled too when it was brand new.

It's probably all the chunks of metal floating around in the gearbox. I would do the 600 mile oil change at 250 if I could do it over again, you would not believe all the metal on that oil screen...

Like I said - this is my second 401. I did my first oil change at 300 last time.

It was full of junk. Gasket material, metal shavings, etc.

I agree, the break in oil change is important.
