Introduce yourself here!

There are normally 2 different ones for the 401, depending on which exhaust you are using.

One from husqvarna works with most exhausts, like stock or arrow or coffman, etc, or cheap fake pipe, and the mnntbx one which is required when you have a 2 hole mounting exhaust, like Leovince or GPR.

Just got my bad winners dash after they blanked me for about a month seems to be working perfectly so far fingers crossed as I expect the after sales to be just as bad 🤞
I would still love to get one anyway. Are they taking new orders?

Hey guys!

SH here from Sweden. Bought my first bike (Svartpilen 401) and got my license in august this year. I accidentally stumbled upon this forum the other day, but glad i did. Seems like an unlimited supply of knowledge and fun!

Cheers 🍻

Hi there!

I just bought a Vitpilen 701 and there is quite a lot of information there :)
This bike comes as a replacement of a Kawasaki ZZR1400 (aka ZX14) which was a really good deal but totally soul-less and too quick for my licence. I've done 100000km with KTM (990 adventure then 1290 Superduke GT) and I love singles engine (I've owned a Suzuki DR650 & 800). When I climbed on the Vitpilen, I felt right at home and so here I am !

Ride safe and have fun!

Hi everyone! Very excited to have joined this forum, I recently found out that vitpilenforum was shutdown (mainly where I was active) but im so glad to see such an active community of riders! I recently moved from the US to Italy and shipping my 2019 701 Svart here, can't wait to explore the beautiful Dolomites mountains!IMG_0430.jpegIMG_0374.jpeg

I'm Carl, the founder of HQVadventure.
I've loved forums since I first found one, back in the old days of the Internet.
They are great because they store the knowledge that the members post, allowing new members to learn from the veteran posters.
I thought the internet needed a great new forum for Husqvarna adventure and road riders. I asked around, and some people agreed with me... so here it is!
I hope you like it!

Please introduce yourself here... or just start posting if your prefer.
Greetings Carl and other forum members. My first cycle was a 1959 Cushman Super Eagle, (in 1964), followed by a string of little Hondas, Yamahas and a Bridgestone, then in 1970 I got my BSA 441 Victor, all of these bikes were pre owned. After riding a 1973 Honda 500(4), and a 1969 Suzuki 350, I give up riding forever in 1976. I have returned to the flock as of yestrday when my new(to me) 2021 Svartpilen was delivered. Thank you Carl for moderating this forum, and I look forward to picking all your brains in the future. Bike in garage and cold today in Oklahoma City, will post soon, but as they all look similar, just look at yours and you'll know what my new bike looks like. OBTW is it true I have to take my bike to the dealer to have the service reminders reset?

Just now taking up again.
Thanks to Carl for hosting this forum, and thanks to everybody who I have yet to meet for allowing me to pick your brains.
Will post photo when it's not so cold.

Hello Fred. Small world. I'm in Choctaw.
I started riding on a shiny red new 1975 CB400f in of all places, Seattle where I was a USCG deck hand stationed aboard WAGB (officially, wide artic gun boat, unofficially, wide ass garbage barge) 10, the infamous Polar Star Icebreaker. Rode the bike home when duty station changed, 2200mi 4 days at 7000rpm. Encountered 40 degrees (or maybe it was 45, gets colder every time I tell it) and rain over Snoqualmie Pass and 105 degree mid day heat across Kansas.
Seemed like a good idea at the time. Dull life since.
I like to customize.
In order of acquisition;
1976 Suzuki 185 ST, While stationed on Saipan (Loran A tech)
1978 Suzuki GS550 E while stationed at Grand Isle La.
Back to Civilian
1983 Honda VT500 Ascot
1984 Honda VF500F Interceptor
2003 Suzuki SV650
2010 (registered) homemade reverse trike, based on Can Am Spyder and Yamaha 2004 Yzf600r
2005 Yamaha FZ1

Nice collection.
When I saw a Duke 390 at the dealer after I already bought the Svart, I was surprised it looks a lot more attractive live than in photos.
Which is your favorite or is that like asking which is one's favorite child?
Maybe just say which one do you ride most.

They're all so similar but the Svart was always the one for me, ergonomically & esthetically though I wish I had the Vit spoked wheels & seat with the Duke comp (bluetooth).. 😁

edit: I used to hang out @ vitpilen forum but I think its defunct now.
I have the same handle over @Adv riders and ktmduke390forum..
