Introduce yourself here!

Hi all, this forum has been a great resource for me, so thank you.
Im in Seattle WA area and currently have a 2020 vit 701. Have had it for a couple months now. Previous bike was a svart 401, and was my first bike. Getting into riding later in life than typical i think and really enjoying it a great deal. Looking to do some track days next season, and some solo road/camping trips. Loved my svart, and was ready to upgrade. Looked at many other middle bikes, xsr 700, sv650, triumphs, etc etc but loved the styling of my svart, and wanted a light weight bike again. Was planning to buy an sv650 but after riding a couple 701s really fell in love with the cafe style.
Anyways, would love to meet up with any other husky riders in the area, and looking forward to chatting and learning more here.

Cheers!

PS my day job and hobby is 3D design and printing. Always looking for ways to improve vehicles so if you got ideas hit me up. Designed flexible key tag with phone number embossed( i lose keys) as fun project and head tube mount adapter so the quad lock would stay put within a couple days of getting the bike.

Was the upgrade from the 401 to the 701 "enough" of a substantial performance upgrade? I only rode my Vitpilen 401 once this year, and was contemplating on needing more power. I'm more into cars, and the 401 seems to feel "slow" now. These are the most aesthetically pleasing motorcycles I've seen yet, so a more powerful Vitpilen is the only upgrade for me.

Yes, its plenty for me. Its gets to 110 plenty quick but if you want beyond that it wont do. You have to actually manage your throttle with this bike. I too am coming from a car background.

Hi everyone,

I am a belgian man living for almost 20 years now in Luxembourg.

Actually I own a 2017 Husqvarna 701 Enduro, I bought it in second hand in Jan 2019 with 11.000 km on it, today it has 64.500 km.

I'm riding by all weather, on and off road. The 701 has seen several countries as Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, UK, Scotland, Poland, The Netherlands, Czech Republic.

Here are some picture of my bike.

Hi everyone,
I have a 2024 old model svartpilen 401 with just under 2000 miles and use it for commuting and also to put on the back of my motorhome, I travelled to the Isle of Man TT races this year with the bike and it attracted lots of attention amongst the sports bikes.

Well hello Everyone,
I've just bought myself a Norden 901 Expedition, and I reckon it's pretty darned good. Yes, it's flippin' tall, but I can just about get both feet flat on the floor (if I try hard enough...). It's fast enough, goes round corners and roundabouts well, even if I am having to get used to the slightly flexible feel again. It'll 'cruise' at 10mph or 85mph, and feels like it's going a lot faster than it actually is, which'll help my license! I've had Adventure style bikes for many, many years, but last year I ventured over to the dark side and bought a BMW1250RT - couldn't get on with the solid feel of the bike. Best thing I could say about it was that it was 'efficient', not what I want a bike for.
The 901 feels like a bit more of a hooligan bike. It very much reminds me of the KTM990 Adv. I had about 15 years ago - if you plan the corners well (and trust the tyres) it'll keep up with most bikes out there. Seems like I might just start taking the long way to places again.
