Got some mean looks the other day and realized my signals weren't working.

The button just wasn't making anything flash.

Because I use it always out of habbit anyways, later i noticed it come on briefly then flicker out and stop flashing.

Back in the garage it worked normally both with engine running and without.

Figure that it could only be the wiring & connectors, the switch, or the relay...

What do you all think? Anyone else with a similar issue to far.

Note: its the same behavior as I had when a relay went bad in a car years ago, but that was many decades ago and I dont even think the relay in the 701 is electro-mechanical is it?

Another member mentioned your post - I just took delivery on my Svartpilen 401 (2024)

My signals shut off for no apparent reason - has happened ~ 10 times in 250 km. At first I figured it was operator error (me) but I am now wondering if I have a lose connection somewhere or a bad switch / relay.

Example of problem - I put the signal on while travelling in a straight line, heading for an intersection. The signal will shut off by itself before I reach the intersection.

I’m going to take a cursory look under the seat at wiring, otherwise head to the dealer and hope their diagnostics read an error.
