Hi, has anyone fitted their bikes with these ignition and clutch cover protections ? Official Husqvarna ones or from other brands (there are plenty to be found on Aliexpress that are much cheaper as you can guess).

I would like to know if installing them requires to use a torque wrench when tightening the bolts (and if so what are the torque values you should apply), and if it should rather be done at the husqvarna dealership in order not to void the warranty. More generally, any feedback on these would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance !

easy to install yourself, don't really need torque wrench the m6 bolt are generally 12nm which is low level, just do it until it feels tight without muscling into it. Just make sure you use the Loctite 243 on it

Yes I did, but in hindsight the husq part is pricy I would get the GB Racing full engine cover or something similar instead for a little bit more, which I think fits better and protects better as well. The KTM / Husq style actually scratches the engine cover on impact and the Aliexpress stuff will probably just snap off completely.
